Richard Blackburn reads as follows: Here Lieth the Body of / COLL RICHARD BLACKBURN / who departed this life / July the 15th 1757 / in the 52nd year of his age. / He was born in Rippon in England from whence / he came to Virginia wher he Acquired / a Reputable Character. Was Intrusted / and Preferred by the Governor to the most / Eminent Stations & Command in the Collony / As well as by the People who made him / Their Representative in the General Assembly / of This Collony where he discharged His Duties / with Honour to Himself as well as to His / Constituents who Reposed in Him This / Important Trust -- He was a man of / Consumate Prudence Frugality & Indefatigable / Industry whereby he made a Large Fortune in / a few Years. He was Followed to the grave / by His Inseparable Friend the Honourable / WILLIAM FAIRFAX & other Gent'n of / Distinction together with his Disconsolate / Relations who Mourned the Loss of so worthy / and usefull a Man to them and to his Country. / This Monument Dedicated to his Memory by / His Friend John Baylis.

Benjamin Bullitt, of Fauquier County, Virginia. He was a farmer.
William Brown, of Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. William Brown, M.D., graduated in medicine, University of Edinburgh, returning to Virginia he settled in Alexandria, for the practice of his profession. He acted as surgeon to the 2nd Virginia Regiment, 1775-1776, when he was appointed by Congress physician the the General Hospital, and acted in that capacity, as well as Assistant Director and Physician-General and Surgeon-General until 1780, when he resigned the appointment. He was Assistant Physician to Dr. Shippen for the Flying Camp and Troops in New Jersey.
Rev. Richard Brown, M.D., of St. Mary's County, (and Charles Co.), Maryland. He was minister of the Established Church.
