Robert Behe(a)thland, Gentleman, came on the first of the three ships that landed at Jamestown, Virginia, 1607. (The Sarah Constant, The Goodspeed, and The Discovery). After accompanying Smith on the expeditions to negotiate with or to fight Indians, we see him ever afterwards referred to as "Captain Robert Behe(a)thland." (William and Mary Quarterly, v. 9, 2nd series, p. 60; Va. M., v. 11, p. 363;)
William Brumley Brent died in 1837 while in the Army in Texas.
James Doggett Brent was born Tuesday night between 9 and 10 o'clock, 1 Nov 1774. He and his wife Frances Brent were second cousins at the time of their marriage.
Kendall Carroll Brent was born Tuesday, about the middle of the day, 7 Feb 1771.
