Col. Charles Brent was a colonel in the Virginia State Militia, and a pall-bearer at Col. Morgan's funeral. He was recorder in Winchester, VA 1808-10, Mayor of Winchester, VA 1809, and Justice, 1811.
He owned a large spring and provided for its continuence in the Brent family. He also provided for his wife, Rachel, and directed that a plat of ground at "Winter Hill" be set apart for the burial of himself and family. He also provided for the support of his aged mother and father who lived in his homestead.
Susan Brent never married. She lived in Winchester, VA, about 90 years.
Jack Langhorne Brent died unmarried.
George Brent moved from near Warrenton, VA to Alexandria, VA where he became a merchant and Collector of the Port.
