James Brown died in infancy.
William Brown died in infancy.
David Brown died in infancy.
Ebenezer Brown died in infancy.
John Brown was a lawyer and a statesman. He represented Kentucky as a district of Virginia in the Virginia Legislature, and in Congress, (the old Congress), 1767-88. He was the first Senator in Congress from Kentucky, and was twice elected United States Senator. He was a warm personal friend of Thomas Jefferson.
