Eunice Cabell died young.
Frederick Cabell was a farmer, a large land-owner, and, before the Civil War he was a large slave-owner. He was an elder in the Presbyterian Church, and for a time a member iin the Grange. Samuel Jordan Cabell was a lieutenant in the 13th Kentucky Infantry, USA, Civil War. He died of wounds received in battle at Huff's Ferry, Tennessee, March 6, 1864. "Although Samuel J. Cabell was in the service of the U.S., having entered early in the struggle, when the preservation of the Union was the issue, the members of the family were generally strong in their sympathies with the South".
