Virginia Corbin

Obituary for Virginia (Corbin) Egeland:
"Virginia Egeland, a 68-year-old resident of 209 Booth Street in Jamesport (MO), died at 8:37 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospitalin Trenton, where she had been a patient for the past two days.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2003 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Burial will be in the Grand River Cemetery near Jameson.
There is no scheduled family visitation planned at the funeral home.
Mrs. Egeland was born on Sept. 6, 1934 in Grundy County, the daughter of James and Juanita Duncan Corbin. She was raised in the Hickory Community. She was married February 21, 1953 at Gallatin (MO) to Donald Egeland, who preceded her in death on January 12, 1994. After their marriage they lived in Trenton before moving to a farm near Jameson in 1962. She moved to Jameson in 1995. She was employed for over 50 years at area insurance agencies, working for Elbert Hammond, A.R. Hammett and Ray Hammett, Jr., all of Trenton, and then Lyle Spillman. At the time of her death she was employed by the Kirby and Spillman Agency at Jamesport.
Mrs. Egeland is survived by one brother, LeRoy Corbin of Jamesport; and one nephew, Randy Corbin of Forsythe, MT.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents."
