Cabell Breckenridge Chinn Hon.
The gravestone for Cabell Breckenridge Chinn, located in the McCausland Family Cemetery, in West Feliciana Parish, LA (near Laurel Hill), contains the following inscription: "Mark the perfect man and behold the upright, for the end of that man is peace".
Blanche Chinn was stillborn.
Robert McCausland Chinn, C.S.A., never married.
"About 1892 Mac Chinn, living in Brazonia, Texas, had a quarrel with Harris Masterson, a lawyer of good family, but who was considered unscrupulous. Harris Masterson shot Mac Chinn and claimed self-defense. Mac Chinn was not armed, but Masterson got away with it." (Source: "The Brance, Harris, Jarvis and Chinn Book", Benjamin H. Ellen Chinn never married. She died at her home in 1865 of diptheria.
Edgar Withers Chinn died, at the age of 4, of diptheria.
